Important Regulatory Notice: No Depository Insurance
Digital currency tokens (USDC and EURC) held via the RAVOT software interface are not traditional bank deposits and are not insured by the FDIC, SIPC, FSCS, or any governmental agency. All blockchain transfers on the Base network are permanent and irreversible once confirmed. Please evaluate your risk tolerance and financial situation before transacting.
Irreversible Transfers
Transactions on Base cannot be canceled or refunded once validated by network block proposers.
Layer 2 Dependencies
Settlement speeds and fees rely on Base rollup infrastructure and Ethereum Layer 1 data availability.
User Safeguards
Safeguarding login credentials, hardware devices, and two-factor authenticators is the user’s responsibility.
Absence of Government Deposit Insurance (No FDIC / SIPC / FSCS)
RAVOT Technologies Ltd. is a financial technology software interface, not a licensed banking institution, insured depository, or securities broker-dealer.
Digital currency balances held at your account address (such as USDC and EURC) are NOT bank deposits and are NOT insured or protected by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC), Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), or any national government deposit guarantee scheme.
Digital Currency Standards & Issuer Counterparty Risk
The primary assets supported on RAVOT are USDC (Digital US Dollar) and EURC (Digital Euro). These stablecoins are issued and redeemed by third-party regulated issuers (specifically Circle Internet Financial, LLC), not by RAVOT.
While these tokens are designed to maintain a 1:1 parity with their respective fiat currencies through audited liquid reserves, RAVOT does not issue, back, manage reserves for, or guarantee the redemption value or solvency of these tokens. Any impairment of the token issuer, reserve assets, or regulatory sanctions against the issuer could impact token liquidity or redeemability.
Transaction Finality & Irreversibility
Transfers executed on the Base network are cryptographically validated by block proposers and committed permanently to the distributed ledger.
Once a transaction has been confirmed on-chain, it cannot be reversed, canceled, or charged back by RAVOT under any circumstances. If you transfer digital assets to an unintended recipient address, an incompatible blockchain network, or a fraudulent party, RAVOT has no technical capability to recover or refund those funds. You bear sole responsibility for verifying all transaction parameters before confirming.
Blockchain Network Protocol & Layer 2 Settlement Risks
RAVOT operates on Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 optimistic rollup network. Operating on decentralized public networks entails inherent technological dependencies:
- Network Congestion & Latency: Periods of heavy network activity may cause execution delays or temporary increases in gas fees.
- Sequencer & Node Availability: Temporary downtime or maintenance on Layer 2 sequencers or RPC node infrastructure could delay transaction propagation or balance updates.
- Protocol Upgrades & Hard Forks: Upgrades to Ethereum or the OP Stack could cause protocol interruptions or changes in operational rules.
Smart Contract & Liquidity Pool Hazards
Digital asset transfers and currency conversions between USDC and EURC interact with smart contracts deployed on the Base network.
Although RAVOT interfaces only with audited, battle-tested protocols, all software code carries the theoretical risk of bugs, exploits, or unexpected decentralized exchange liquidity shortfalls that could cause slippage or execution failure during volatile market conditions.
Credential Stewardship & Device Compromise
Because RAVOT provides a non-custodial software interface where your account authorizes transactions, your security relies heavily upon the integrity of your personal authentication environment:
- Phishing websites mimicking RAVOT’s domain (always verify
ravot.coin your browser bar). - Malware, keyloggers, or trojans on your personal smartphone or computer.
- Compromised email accounts used for initial authentication or password resets.
- Loss of access to your Multi-Factor Authentication (TOTP) device.
Evolving Legal, Tax & Regulatory Environments
The regulatory framework governing digital currencies, stablecoins, and decentralized technologies is subject to rapid legislative evolution worldwide.
Future legal reforms, regulatory guidance, or court rulings in your jurisdiction may alter the legal status of digital assets, restrict platform feature availability, or require additional compliance verifications. Furthermore, transactions in digital currencies may have tax consequences, and you are solely responsible for determining and complying with your applicable tax obligations.
Regulatory Disclosure & Architecture Status
