Platform Summary & Scope
These Terms of Use constitute a binding agreement between you and RAVOT Technologies Ltd. RAVOT provides a software interface for managing digital dollar (USDC) and digital euro (EURC) balances settled on the Base distributed ledger. RAVOT is not a bank and does not offer insured deposits. By using RAVOT, you agree to these terms in their entirety.
Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility
By creating an account, connecting a cryptographic interface, or accessing any service provided by RAVOT Technologies Ltd. (“RAVOT”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), you (“User”, “Client”, or “Account Holder”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”).
To be eligible to use RAVOT, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction; (b) you have full power, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms; (c) you are not located in, or a national or resident of, any country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions (including OFAC, EU, UN, or UK sanctions); and (d) your use of RAVOT will not violate any applicable domestic or international laws, anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, or counter-terrorist financing (CFT) standards.
Nature of Software Services & Non-Custodial Status
RAVOT is a financial technology software provider, not a chartered bank, insured depository, custodian, or fiduciary institution. The RAVOT web application provides an intuitive client interface for interacting with public decentralized protocols on the Base network (an Ethereum Layer 2 rollup).
Direct Non-Custodial Account Architecture: Your digital asset balances (specifically USDC and EURC) are held directly at your account address on the Base distributed ledger. RAVOT does not hold, take possession of, lend, commingle, or rehypothecate customer digital assets. You retain full mathematical and cryptographic authority to authorize transactions through your verified credentials and authentication devices.
Supported Digital Currencies & Conversion Protocols
The RAVOT platform natively supports the management, receipt, transmission, and conversion of approved digital currencies:
- USDC (Digital US Dollar): Issued by Circle Internet Financial, LLC, operating on Base.
- EURC (Digital Euro): Issued by Circle Internet Financial, LLC, operating on Base.
Conversions between supported tokens execute on-chain through decentralized automated liquidity pools. While RAVOT displays quoted exchange rates and estimated slippage in real time, actual execution is determined by prevailing pool liquidity and network state at the moment the transaction is confirmed on-chain.
Account Security, Credentials & Device Hygiene
You are solely responsible for safeguarding the credentials associated with your RAVOT account, including your registered email address, device security, password, and two-factor authentication (TOTP) authenticators.
RAVOT will never contact you by email, phone, or direct message requesting your passwords, two-factor codes, or session tokens. If you suspect any unauthorized access to your account or device, you must immediately change your credentials and notify our security team at security@ravot.co.
Transaction Finality & Irreversibility
All transactions executed on the Base network are irreversible and permanent once confirmed by block validators.
RAVOT possesses no technical mechanism or administrative authority to cancel, halt, amend, or reverse transactions broadcast to the network. You must independently verify the accuracy of recipient addresses, network parameters, and transfer quantities before confirming any operation.
Network Gas Fees & Execution Costs
Transactions on the Base network require computation and state updates, which incur network gas fees paid to Layer 2 block proposers and Layer 1 data availability providers.
RAVOT may sponsor gas fees for selected operations or display estimated network fees prior to execution. Gas fees fluctuate based on network congestion, and RAVOT has no control over network-level gas pricing set by the underlying blockchain protocols.
Permitted Use & Prohibited Conduct
You agree to use RAVOT strictly for lawful personal or commercial purposes. You agree NOT to:
- Engage in, facilitate, or promote money laundering, terrorist financing, or proliferation financing;
- Transact with sanctioned wallets, individuals, or jurisdictions designated by OFAC, the EU, or the UK;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, probe, or conduct automated denial-of-service attacks against RAVOT APIs or infrastructure;
- Execute fraudulent payment requests, phishing scams, or unauthorized chargebacks;
- Utilize automated spiders, scrapers, or bot scripts without express written authorization from RAVOT.

Modifications to Terms & Severability
RAVOT reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time to reflect operational, technological, or legal developments. When changes are made, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this document. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any controversy, claim, or dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be submitted to informal dispute resolution by contacting legal@ravot.co. If unresolved within 60 days, disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration in London, United Kingdom.
